We are a group of high school students from Lubbock High who share a passion for rocketry and STEM. After self-teaching ourselves and competing in the American Rocketry Challenge, we discovered a fundamental problem in our community: students want to pursue rocketry but lack opportunities to do so. As a result, we established the West Texas Youth Rocketry Association. Our mission is to share our knowledge, host community events, and provide opportunities for hands-on STEM learning. By supporting student teams and sharing competition updates, we aim to spark curiosity, creativity, and collaboration-building a community of innovators throughout West Texas.
